In packing Boxes, the Packed material such as glass, plastic, metals, fabric, glass bottles which are filled with liquid or medicines are packed in a box which is made of corrugated sheets or a cardboard used to separate these items from each other so that these do not touch each other.

So to keep away from each other in different partition slots. Small cut pieces which are inserted in the box containing these items.
